The Maintenance Supervisor position is in the General Properties Section of the Facilities Engineering Service located at the Coatesville VA Medical Center.
Duties
Duties Includes:
Reviews and analyzes records and reports of work production, costs, and equipment.
Evaluates the performance of subordinate leader and employees.
Performs scheduling and layout of operations, and inspection and surveillance of materials, methods, and equipment used in construction.
Establishes construction standards for new or unusual projects.
Plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to weekor month-to-month basis.
Planning, tracking and reporting progress on work assignments.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: The incumbent responds to varying conditions and needs within the Medical Center, considers weather patterns and other conditions/ events which greatly influence work on the facility and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure the work is effectively completed with minimized impact to other Medical Center operations.
