This position is located under the Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Regional Supply Service Center. The incumbent will be responsible for direct supply support administrative and technical management. This position is located at the Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, New Mexico.
Duties

Assists with a wide variety of supply and procurement program analysis and maintenance functions related to the point-of-use system.
Evaluates and provides technical recommendations for the management of automated Supply Chain Management inventory software.
Serves as facility subject matter expert for automated supply chain management software application and requirements.
Issues individual user access and provides staff guidance and training on the system.
Collaborates with other section employees in creation of reports and charts to document study purposes, methods, premises, and conclusions.
Compiles and analyzes utilization reports to aid Supervisor is determining aspects of cost and benefits in the automation equipment and systems.
Qualifications

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
GS-7:One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 level OR completing one (1) year of graduate level OR superior academic achievement with a Bachelor's Degree.
GS-9:One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 level OR master's or equivalent graduate degree OR two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-7: One (1) year of specialized experience related to work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-5 level in the Federal Service that include: 1) providing guidance to a medical team on how operate Point of Use or Supply Systems; 2) providing recommendations for improvements regarding stock and inventory procedures; and 3) diagnosing supply system malfunctions.
GS-9: One (1) year of specialized experience related to work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-7 level in the Federal Service that include: 1) assisting in identifying point-of-use or supply malfunctions; 2) maintaining supply records; and 3) monitoring inventory, procurement of, or distribution of supplies.
Time In Grade - Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
