You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the COMMANDER NAVY INSTALLATION COMMAND of NAVAL STATION.
Duties
You will review completed staff actions (letters, memos, reports, studies, factsheets, information papers) for quality, consistency, and compliance.
You will conduct organization-wide evaluations of administrative process to increase efficiency and productivity.
You will analyze documentation procedures for awards recommendations, postal procedures, or office automation for increased efficiency.
You will write policy memoranda or circulars on administrative policies impacting an organization.
You will identify training resource requirements and recommend methods to overcome resource shortfalls.
You will inform managers on opportunities for personnel training.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Developing and improving administrative management controls; 2) Monitoring and executing budgetary transactions; 3) Formulating and administering effective financial and budgetary controls; 4) Providing administrative services and procedures including forms management, files, directives, correspondence management, classified material custodian and records management.
