This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Business & Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12/13.
Duties
Responsible for discussing and helping the customer with their business requirements for a wide range of system and process improvement projects as well as support complex daily operations within SAP modules.
Responsible to work with and peer review all documents, created by junior business analysts and provide feedback.
Introduces SAP "best practices" to the customer and work alongside the change management team in order to roll out daily operations/support, project work, and these best practices.
Serve as Senior Business Analyst (BA) supporting the Business Transformation and E-Systems Directorate’s mission of supporting the Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Shared Services Center (SCC).
Perform complex master data and transactional SAP system configuration for standard SAP solutions.
Establish precedents in application of problem-solving techniques to enhance existing processes.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
- Must file annual financial disclosure statement.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.

My specialized experience includes, or was supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: (1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. In addition to the competencies, one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (NH-2/GS-11) in the Federal service which includes: 1) Performing SAP (Systems, Applications and Products) configuration in the area of Project Systems, Finance, Plant Maintenance, and/or Production Planning & Control modules OR equivalent SAP/ERP experience in the previous mentioned modules.; 2) Experience configuring SAP Project Systems related to business processes in areas such as: project structures, project funding, project costing, project budgeting, technically complete projects, project closure, project validations, resource related billing, Month-End and/or Year-End activities.; 3) Experience translating business requirements into SAP configuration design solutions.
