This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Financial Operations and Acquisitions Management in Washington, D.C. The incumbent manages a Contract Operations Team and is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance for Federal procurement policy, planning, and requirements development.

Qualifications
GS-14: At least 4-years of experience in contracting or related positions. At least one (1) year of that experience must have been specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: planning acquisition approaches; and supervising acquisition professionals; and advising senior leadership and program offices regarding acquisition approaches. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume.

Education Requirement:A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours (36 quarter hours) in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. Transcripts (official or unofficial) must be submitted in support of this education requirement. If selected, official transcripts will be required.

Successfully completed ALL of the mandatory training course requirements to hold a Level III Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) or FAC-C (Professional) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III or DAWIA Professional Certification in the field of Contracting, typically referred to as a FAC-C Level III, FAC-C (Professional), DAWIA Contracting Level III, or DAWIA Professional. You must submit a copy of your current Level III Certification or FAC-C (Professional) or DAWIA Level III or DAWIA Professional Certification with your application package to validate this response.
