About the Position: Serve as the Army Contracting Command - Detroit (ACC-DTA) Supply Management Officer and subject matter expert for all supplies, services, and facility management for a 770+ person Contracting Center. The Army Contracting Command is responsible for acquisition support and contracting. #ACC-DTA
Duties
Serve as the Army Contracting Command – Detroit (ACC-DTA) Supply Management Officer and subject matter expert for all supplies, services, and facility management for a 770+ person Contracting Center.
Maintain 100% property accountability of approximately $2M of Government property using Global Combat Support System-Army, automated database systems, and manual procedures.
Prepare Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss for Government property lost, damaged, or destroyed in accordance with regulations, guidance, and directives.
Coordinate and integrate actions required into a comprehensive plan in support of overall facility readiness requirements by submitting work orders and other repair requirements and monitoring work orders and progress toward meeting readiness.
Research records, reports, functional statements, operating regulations and directives, and other pertinent sources to gather, correlate, analyze,
Determine, and recommend action to resolve problems or improve the efficiency, effectiveness, or economy of operations.
Ensures the execution of funds based on quarterly allocations; executes the program within authorized deviation or makes recommendations to adjust programmed amounts or expenditures.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.

Requirements for GS-11:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes1) Providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management; 2) Performing supply functions such as: cataloging, maintenance, accounting, and disposal procedures; 3) Applying supply principles and regulations to perform property accountability of supplies and equipment; and 4) Providing supply operations support to an organization.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Experience for GS-12:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Researching supply principles and regulations to perform property accountability of various types of supplies and equipment; 2) Conducting inventory management, stock record accountability, and storage management for all accountable property; 3) Analyzing an organization's supply needs and procuring equipment and supplies as required; and 4) Developing supply plans based upon analysis of various organizational factors (e.g., training, budget, administrative programs). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Education
