You will serve as an OPERATIONAL PLANNER in the NAVY MUNITIONS COMMAND PACIFIC EAST ASIA DIVISION (NMCPAC EAD).
Duties
You will manage the development and coordination of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), war games, exercise participation and Joint Mission Essential Task Lists (JMETL).
You will perform the full range of planning, liaison, monitoring, Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) data entry and organizational interface.
You will be responsible for short-term and long-range joint exercise training program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones.
You will maintains metrics and evaluates comprehensive information on functional components, and assigned forces participation in exercise data programs including Joint Lessons Learned program.
You will identify risks, develop mitigation, and assess residual risk to Contingency Plans and on-going operations.
You will manage efforts to identify critical logistics units, supplies, and austere/non austere locations including ordnance distribution, re-arm, and transportation required in developing mobilization timelines.
You will identify complex systematic problems/issues and develops solutions by exchanging information with senior and subordinate commands, activities and units.
You will analyze and evaluate unit transportation requirements to keep aware of their relationship to and impact on mobility, contingency and emergency support requirements, resources, and exercises.
You will provide guidance to units or activities on the execution of logistics support and Quick Response Teams (QRT) mobilization plans.
You will prepare and submits detailed analyses and/or reports with technical evaluations and recommendations for policy, process, and procedural changes.
You will resolve complex logistics planning problems affecting numerous activities and units spread over large geographical areas.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is limited to the commuting area to the Island of Oahu.
Qualifications
For the GS-13:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning logistical support for ordnance distributionbyanalyzing and evaluating transportation requirements todevelop mitigation plans ensuring resources (e.g.personnel, ordnance, equipment, and supplies)are available to support operational readiness.
