The United States Space Force is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. USSF responsibilities include developing Guardians, acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power, and organizing space forces to present to our Combatant Commands.
Duties
Great opportunity to serve as command headquarters level senior program analyst planning, organizing, and determining necessary policies, regulations, directives, programs, doctrine, and procedures for the establishment and maintenance of assigned Field Command (FIELDCOM) programs involving United States Space Force (USSF) space/cyberspace operations. Manage Environmental Monitoring Future Operations programs to meet HQ SpOC, USSF, and DOD wide mission objectives. Provide Environmental Monitoring policy advice, guidance and recommendations on operational issues affecting all DCG-O, HQ SpOC, and United States Space Force (USSF) Environmental Monitoring capabilities. DCG-O focal point for all matters pertaining to integration and continuity of Environmental Monitoring philosophy, policies, and procedures for operations. Transition Environmental Monitoring capabilities from acquisition to operations. Plan and carry out assignments independently; conceive and define solutions to highly complex problems; analyze, interpret, and report findings of projects; and guide technical and programmatic work of team members in comparable junior grades. Completed work and reports are reviewed for feasibility, compatibility with other work or effectiveness in meeting requirements or expected results.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information {SCI) Security Clearance.
- Locations are not negotiable. The actual duty locations available may be located on the Air Force Civilian Service website.
- This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.
- May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
