This position is located in the Technical Services Branch, Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD) in Ashburn, VA. You will serve as the technical expert responsible for the advancement of engineering software computer applications, including CADD software, Design Visualization, Engineer’s Estimate Systems, and the development, operation and management of the Geographical Information System (GIS) program for the National Park Service and utilization across Federal Lands Highway.

Qualifications

For the GS-13: You must have at least one year of experience, equal or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which included:
Experience using engineering software programs, such as 3D Computer-Aided Design (CADD) software, Design Visualization and Geographic Information System (GIS); AND
Experience coordinating engineering design services, feasibility studies and technical assistance in highway improvement projects, engineering constraints, and tight timelines.
