This position is located in the Administration Unit, Labor, Employment & Administration Section, Corporate Operations Branch, Legal Division and provides direct support involving human resources management, financial management and other administrative related services.

Duties
Provides support to Legal personnel through the administration of programs such as space management, human resources, records, travel, procurements, facilities, and logistics.
Provides administrative support, completes assignments and projects, develops reports, produces memoranda and other work documents related to: staffing, time and attendance, performance management, external development programs, and training.
Creates, maintains and updates Unit SharePoint data (including the design and evolution of filing hierarchies and monitoring of access controls) for use by internal and external stakeholders.
Generates and analyzes reports obtained through use of automated queries from the Corporate Human Resources System (CHRIS) on authorized staffing levels and other specialized reports which monitor staffing levels to meet workload requirements.
Develops, generates, and analyzes reports using FDIC financial systems for the preparation of budget requests and performs fact gathering associated with the monitoring of budgets.
Assists with managing: (1) the Legal Division Awards and Recognition Program by ensuring proper accounts are charged, monitors expenditure levels, and produces tracking reports and spreadsheets; and (2) the Office of Financial Institution Adjudication quarterly billing process.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for the CG-12: Applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in personnel and administrative program operations related to at least three (3) of the following areas: human resources, time and attendance, performance management, financial management, producing reports, and data analysis.
