Duties

You will assist with Quality Assurance and corrections of data recorded in the NET database. You will represent the Command during NMCI tech refresh meetings and brief the FISCJ NMCI ACTR team and the Knowledge Management Director. You will ensure all correct software is associated to the correct asset. You will assist in the coordination and implementation of encryption certificates across the enterprise.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing as an IT Specialist. Specialized experience must include all or most of the following duties; 1) Assisting the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) by ensuring that all employees are properly trained and adhere to the requirements for marking, labeling, and downgrading of both unclassified and classified IA media; 2) Preparing requests for Move/Add/Change (MAC) actions, reviewing for accuracy of system migration and updates of the performed MAC requests; 3) Assisting the IAM in providing training to NAVSUP FLCJ employees on the proper handling and protection of hardware, software, data, communication (networks), and classified/unclassified processing; 4) Helping with the coordination and implantation of encryption certificates across the enterprise; 5) Assisting users with Personal Computer (PC) training and technical guidance on the NMCI connectivity. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management.

I have successfully completed 3 full years (54 hours) of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; or, graduate education that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
