You will serve as a Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Operations and Business Process Branch of the NAVSEA ERP Business Office of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.
NT-05 is equivalent to the GS-13/14
Duties
You will serve as a Senior Financial Associate as part of the Financial Team within the Operations and Business Process Branch (OBPB) in the NAVSEA ERP Business Office (NEBO).
You will be responsible for providing support to the NAVSEA Enterprise, both General Fund and Working Capital Fund.
You will serve as the liaison for the NAVSEA Enterprise and financial point of contact to the Navy ERP Program Office organizations.
You will be responsible for trouble ticket management and resolution; interpreting and communicating system changes/upgrades; participating in system testing; writing/reviewing/providing feedback on system defects/change requests.
You will be responsible for interpreting financial policies and procedures and making business process recommendations for effective operations within the Navy ERP as well as with external interfaces.
You will be responsible for providing effective customer service and ensuring appropriate feedback mechanisms are established and maintained.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing financial Systems (i.e. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)) functionality to implement financial processes to improve organization effectiveness and efficiency..
