About the Position: Serves as Supply Technician (CEEP) in assisting the Capital Expense Equipment Program (CEEP) Manger, for the Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) with the CEEP Program located in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Assist the Capital Expense Equipment Program (CEEP) manager from initial stage of planning through site preparation and installation of equipment Assist in reviewing fund limitations to help determine priority of equipment actions. Research items to submit completed equipment requirements through proper offices for required approvals. Operate stand-alone computer with tailored software for input, editing, processing, and special reports.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent must successfully complete preemployment physical examination.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Incumbent is required to wear a safety belt when lifting supplies and equipment.

Coordinating with personnel to resolve discrepancies in requirements, specifications, costs, or documentation. Performing periodic inventories using manual or scanner equipment to update hand receipt records. Experience with routine supply transactions and/or providing supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). OR Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Management or Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
