About the Position: This position is located with the 96th Medical Group, Eglin A.F.B. The 96th Medical Group provides a wide variety of outpatient services and presently supports one of the larger outpatient workloads in the Air Force.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in Department of Defense (DoD).
Duties
Manage all Memorandums of Understanding and Support Agreements associated with the 96 Medical Group.
Provide technical and administrative support to Group commander, six squadron commanders, hospital administrator, five corp chiefs, and staff.
Analyze, forecast, report, and management of all resources (manpower, equipment, and funding) associated with these Memorandums of Understanding and Support Agreements, and setting standard and minimum performance levels.
Coordinate and prepare performance indicator data to senior analyst.
Develop metrics for executive level presentation on current status by product/service line.
Administers the 96 Medical Group Manning Assistance Program, validating work center shortfalls, organizing and tracking the movement of all assigned personnel.
Determines staffing levels to ensure compliance with AF and DHA guidelines in the management of the Manning Assistance Program.
Manages the 96 Medical Group Air Force Surgeon General Audit Program. Coordinates, monitors, and submits all 96 MDG audits to 96 TW.
Serves as Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) timekeeper for the organization.
Coordinates education and training requirements for all civilian employees.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination. A candidate selected to this position will be required to sign a statement consenting to annual seasonal influenza vaccination.
- One- year probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and or specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes performing administrative and/or clerical work in support of the office/organization; utilizing automated software such as Microsoft Office to prepare a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested; reviewing and processing incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, regulations, and directives for the department; utilizing automated tracking system or software to track information, proofreading/editing correspondence and documents for correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and/or format prior to sending to recipient.
OR
Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. OR
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
