Duties
As a/an Recapitalization Program Specialist, you will:
- Advise the Associate DAS, Division Directors and subordinate management regarding issues or problems that hinder effective operations in the Office of Recapitalization.
- Provide authoritative analysis to the Office of Recapitalization management in reference to policies and procedures within the office and work products and work habits of staff within the team with an initial focus on the Closing division.
- Assist the Divisions and Branches in the Office of Recapitalization by providing technical support and program guidance.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-14, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Experience with multifamily real estate transactions with 811 Project Rental Assistance Contracts (PRACs), Senior Preservation Rental Assistance Contracts (SPRACs) or Rental Assistance Demonstration conversions, including underwriting, development, or implementation of affordable housing preservation programs working with these properties; AND
- Leading group projects or initiatives with multiple team members; AND
AND
- Managing development of subsidy cost estimates for Federal credit (i.e., loan or loan guarantee) programs.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
