This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), in Network & Support Engineering (TENN), Systems Engineering (TEN), Engineering and Technical Services (TE), Transmission Services (T).
Telecommunications Specialist position will be responsible for producing detailed telecommunication circuit design, technical leadership and construction support related to circuit design activities directly supporting the control and protection of the Bulk Electric System.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level [GS-11] in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience in 1) evaluating, analyzing, developing, managing, or improving communications systems, procedures, and requirements that demonstrated knowledge of current developments and trends in communications concepts and technology and 2) producing detailed telecommunication circuit designs and technical support related to circuit design activities directly supporting the control and protection of the Bulk Electric System.

Physical Demands: The work is sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required in stooping, kneeling, bending, etc.
Work Environment: Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate controlled office. Occasional travel may be required.
