The primary purpose of this position is to serves as the lead Logistics Management Specialist, program manager, and senior subject matter expert responsible for assuring the work of their assigned team Is carried out by performing a range of planning, coordinating, coaching, facilitating, and related supportive duties.
Duties
Articulates and communicates to the team, assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review and establishes deadlines and time frames for completion of assigned work.
Monitors and intercedes with the status and progress of work on a daily basis, reviewing for technical accuracy of in-work and completed projects.
Responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for assigned systems or subsystems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to sustain system fielding.
Provides technical guidance, advisory support and assistance. Performs very complex, difficult studies/evaluations on an individual basis or as a team leader responsible for completing phases of an overall work effort.
Participates in projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience in the ability to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program; developing, or performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support the organizations mission. The work involves: (1) identifying the specific requirements for manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and (2) correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place.
Preference will be given to those who possess the following experience (Must be on your resume): Strategic planning projects such as, Strategy, Planning, & Programming Process (SP3), Strategic Requirements Review (SR2); Technology Acquisition Sustainment Review (TASR) program management; Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) Liaison for Emerging Technologies, Sustainment Governance Management, and Organization Continuous Improvement and Innovation Management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the applicable logistics management principles, concepts, policies, and laws; logistics functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve logistics problems; and all aspects of life cycle integrated logistics support.
2. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
3. Ability to lead, motivate and guide the functions of the team.
4. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate
options.
5. Ability to utilize AoP concepts and initiatives to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
6. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
