This position is located in the Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization (FEHRM) Office within the Program Executive Director (PED) Office, for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Integration Office, within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA).
Duties
Assists the Program Executive Office Defense Health Care Management Systems (PEO DHMS) and EHRM IO designated representatives in implementing the single Federal Healthcare system at the FHCC by managing, coordinating, and directing a multi-agency team.
Maintains integration with VA/DoD interests during the deployment, adoption, stabilization, and optimization of EHRs and sets up and supports EHRM requirements.
Establish a project plan that identifies the tasks, activities, and deadlines required to complete the project.
Ensures the planning, acquisition, development, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and assessment of all aspects of EHR deployment at FHCC.
Delivers reports, progress updates, and presentations created by FHCC and Joint Sharing Sites staff to senior executives.
Provide leadership with recommendations regarding structure, methods, and procedures related to interagency VA-DoD EHR modernization governance operations.
Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
Compressed/Flexible: Subject to supervisory approval.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-14 position, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13. The grade may have been in any occupation but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not demonstrate you possess one year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that demonstrates a one-year time-in-grade.

You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-13 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience is, but is not limited to: developing and implementing community relation plans or programs including the review of federal/state/local plans for impact and effectiveness. Establishes relationships with various other organizations including the public, key officials, stakeholders, and community groups. Responds to information requests via written and verbal form, track inquiries, and resolve out-of-line situations. Assembles and assesses information gathered; formulates findings conclusions, and recommendations. Identifies and resolves issues and identifies areas of improvement.

Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical may be required.
Work Environment: Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate-controlled office. The position requires occasional travel.
