The incumbent serves as a Logistics Management Specialist within AJW-L950 performing routine and multiple and varying logistics assignments under the general direction of the manger or more experienced professional/leader..

Duties

Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibilities and begins serving in leadership roles. Works with higher and lower level professionals in day- to-day operations on logistics processes and procedures. Provides training to lower-level professionals on logistics.

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required

Qualifications

To qualify at the FV-G (FG-10/11) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess 52 weeks of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes: experience with inventory control regulations and policies; experience recording and tracking inventory activity and needs; experience selecting alternative source of supply; and coordination and control on inventory items.ORPh.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related, from an accredited college or university.ORCombination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position.If your qualifications for this position are based on education, you must submit a transcript of your college coursework by the closing date of the announcement. Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their work history. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
