About the Position: This is a deployable Department of the Army Civilian position. Serves as a Supply Management Specialist in an Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) Supply Office (S4), for the Army Sustainment Command (ASC).

Duties

Provides technical advice and guidance to identify and resolve all supply program management problems. Responsible for procurement of supplies, services, and equipment for automation of supply programs involving source of supply, authorizations, allowances, and cataloging requirements. Serves as the Brigade Primary Hand Receipt Holder (PHRH)

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) requirement of any length including 6 months in duration or longer in CONUS or OCONUS in austere locations.
  • Incumbent must sign DD Form 2365
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain an official passport.
  • Incumbent must successfully complete on-line computer based training and residential deployment training, as applicable.
  • This position is designated as Emergency Essential (EE).
  • incumbent must pass an Initial and annual medical examination and receive/maintain up-to-date required immunization for the overseas or deployed location.
