Duties
If selected at the GS-12 level, , the below responsibilities will be performed in a developmental capacity.
Serves as the team supervisor overseeing the day-to-day operations of the DLA Human Resources Services Quality Control and Processing Reserve Team functions.
Provides leadership to the team, training to team and oversight, guidance, and advice regarding both quality control, processing, policies, regulations, processes, and procedures to serviced DLA and DoD activities, in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
Oversees the processing of personnel actions and identifying quality control and data integrity issues.
Provides direction for payroll interface transactions and reject reports generated when errors are detected.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
GS-12: Providing advice on processing various types of routine and non-routine federal civilian personnel actions; Utilizing automated human resources systems to process personnel actions and analyze and determine solutions to problems; Utilizing Office of Personnel Management pay setting principles, concepts, regulations, and practices in processing personnel actions.
GS-13: Providing advice and guidance on processing various types of routine and non-routine federal civilian personnel actions; Utilizing automated human resources systems to process personnel actions, design reports, and analyze and determine solutions to problems; Leading other employees to accomplish work products, to include prioritizing work, training, and reviewing work for accuracy; Utilizing Office of Personnel Management pay setting principles, concepts, regulations, and practices in processing personnel actions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
