Job opening: PIPEFITTER

Salary: $24 - 34 per hour

You will serve as a Pipefitter in the Product Division of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. ALL PRB3XX.

Duties

You will assist in the assembly, laying, or hanging of pipes by lifting, carrying, and handling tools, fittings, and equipment to the journeyman pipefitter. You will tighten pipe connections and valves; and cut or drill previously marked holes in walls. You will assist with laying out the routing, placement, pitch, elevation, pressure reduction, expansion and operation of various piping systems and equipment. You will interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other drawings to accomplish the repair of high-pressure piping systems and equipment. You will assist with the disassembly, repair, and rebuild component parts of equipment such as flash and expansion tanks, circulating pumps, heat exchangers and radiators.

Requirements
