You will serve as a Production Controller in the Public Works Department of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will review requests for construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, replacement and other services. You will analyze project data and work requirements. You will input data into business applications system (e.g., Maximo, MS Project, etc.). You will use a computer to monitor and query production workload. You will maintain production data to manage work orders and materials. You will develop reports, spreadsheets, graphs, flowcharts and Power-Pont presentations relating to production trending data, workload balancing, response standards and product line metrics.

Qualifications

FOR GS-08: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using Maximo for in inducting, routing, and tracking projects; 2) Generating reimbursable and non-reimbursable funding request; 3) Creating monthly reports, answering data calls, maintaining data bases; and 4) Understanding of Facilities and Utilities with minimal supervision. FOR GS-07: Applicants without current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service) must meet specialized experience requirements equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with completing service requests and work orders using Maximo in the work order and service request tabs; 2) Assisting with queries reports using Maximo; 3) Assisting with monitoring job order numbers; and 4) Assisting with generating spreadsheets, basic emails and responds to data calls using Outlook, Word and Excel). Applicants who are current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service employees must meet specialized experience requirements equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with completing service requests and work orders using Maximo in the work order and service request tabs; 2) Assisting with queries reports using Maximo; 3) Assisting with monitoring job order numbers; and 4) Assisting with generating spreadsheets, basic emails and responds to data calls using Outlook, Word and Excel).
