About the Position: This is a Test Score Technician, GS-0303-07, with the MEPS US Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM), Testing Section, Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) located in Westover ARB, MA.
Duties
As a Test Score technician, you will be responsible for the scoring, reporting, and delivery of the automated test scores completed by applicants who are pursuing entry into the military. Specifically, you will:
Ensure that test scores are valid and entered into the automated system in a timely manner consistent with USMEPCOM policies and procedures.
Resolve test scoring automation issues, requesting assistance when necessary.
Oversee test material security, control, and storage procedures ensuring the integrity of all testing materials and equipment.
Train staff on test scoring and proper data entry procedures.
Ensure applicant eligibility and identify special testing situations and follow proper channels in requesting modifications and exceptions to policy.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience and/or education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) utilizing automated testing equipment to score examinations; 2) using technical regulatory guidance to complete assignments; 3) overseeing testing, security, and/or quality control and storage procedures; 4) drafting formal correspondence and reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
