Duties

You will be responsible for resolving problems, issues, and conflicts associated with the operation and maintenance of the utility services provided. You will be responsible for monitoring expenditures in both commodity and cost center budgets. You will be responsible for developing training needs of employees. You will be responsible for developing workload projections, determining budget, manpower, equipment and material resource requirements. You will be responsible for planning future system development and improvements via major maintenance and repairs, recurring maintenance, and operating requirements.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Posses a strong background in information technology and operating different utility information systems such as CUBIC, CIRCUITS, SCADA and GIS; 2) Knowledge of the utility and energy management business and government financial systems; 3) Knowledge of common Utility programs such as Computerized utility billing integration and control and CIRCUITS.4) Applicant must be well versed in NMCI requirements for embedded information technology systems such as DDC, SCADA and instrument control systems.
