This position is located United States Agency for Global Media, Voice of America, Eurasia Division. The incumbent will serve as an International Broadcaster (TV/Online) in the Russian Service, with the responsibility of anchoring live and pre-recorded TV programs and segments and delivering live on-camera remotes for interactives with VOA Russian affiliates. S/he will report, write, edit, and produce content for the Services TV and digital platforms.
Duties
As an International Broadcaster (TV/Online), you will be reasonable for duties to include, but are not limited to:
Producing and/or creates complex original TV or online reports focusing on wide range of issues of interest to target audience.
Serves as an anchor/host of live or live-to-tape TV programs, as on camera presenter or reporter.
Works with audience engagement editors to shape stories into innovative presentations for mobile and social platforms.
Continually monitors incoming wires, news, and video feeds to identify relevant information and update the online content or programming material.

Qualifications
Screen out factor: Applicant must have fluency in both English and Russian languages that enables you to speak, read, write, report, and translate in both languages. This language screen out factor MUST be listed in your resume to receive consideration.
Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the GS-11 or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Experience as an anchor and reporter working for a major international or national news organization, with specific understanding of multimedia story-telling, including proficiency in social media.
Knowledge and experience in planning and producing television shows.
Demonstrates experience anchoring and reporting from the field on original stories and breaking news events.
Knowledge of Russia, its history, economic culture, and socio-political development.
Education
Education is not required for this grade level. It cannot be used for qualification purposes.
