About the Position: Serve as a Program Analyst for the Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA), G-3/5/7, Directorate of Strategic Operations (DAMO-SO). Incumbent assists with data management for the Department of the Army (DA) Data Steward for the warfighting mission area and related agency systems within the HQDA G3-5/7. Assists with identifying, developing, and exploiting critical data, in furtherance of DAMO-SO objectives inclusive of Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response (CHMR) objectives.
Duties
Serve as an advisor on data standards across all the mission areas.
Coordinate the development and overall quality and timeliness of data strategy and data implementation guidance.
Provide managerial expertise in the coordination and integration of data within the Directorate of Strategic Operations (DAMO-SO), Civilian Protection Center of Excellence (CP CoE).
Monitor ways and means to identify and use data analytics talent within the warfighting mission area Data Platform
Recommend policies and procedures for functions and activities pertaining to the data program in compliance with federal law, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
- Personnel must pass drug screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing, thereafter, in accordance with AR 600-85 and Department of Defense Directive 2010.9.
- IAW DoD 8570-01-M, within 6 months the incumbent must obtain and maintain Level 2 Information Assurance Management (IAM) certification.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
