About the Position: This position is located in Dover AFB, Delaware. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced Leave Accrual may be authorized. This position is being filled on a Permanent basis.

Duties

Facilitate ongoing training and education to ensure appropriate standards/regulations of staff are met. Evaluates the performance of key supervisors, and reviews the evaluations made by subordinate supervisors of other employees. Adapt policies, interpret guidance, develop process improvement initiatives, and provide goals and objectives establishing methods of operation that facilitate mission accomplishment. Develops methods to ensure all required personnel reporting is accomplished timely, accurately, and completely. Provide advice, education and training requirements in the areas of analysis, development, design, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate within the organization to ensure planning strategies and execution is consistently applied with the program requirements at all levels.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
