This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Aviation Logistics Center, Engineering Services Division (ESD), Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Duties
This position is responsible for performing regular and recurring duties on an assigned group of non-complex aircraft parts and/or components. The primary purpose of this position is to manage inventory items.Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.Typical work assignments include:

Qualifications
At the GS-09 grade level must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service applying basic knowledge of directives, policies and procedures governing inventory management principles, laws, and regulations to provide basic information to managers and employees about common issues or problems related to supply requirements, and experience working with automated inventory control systems. Applicants may also qualify at the GS-09 grade level by successful completion of a Master's or equivalent degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B or J.D., if related, from an accredited college or university.
