Joining the Secret Service, Office of Equity and Employee Support Services (EES) will allow you to offers advice, counsel, and assistance to leaders and employees regarding agency services, policies and procedures, and problem solving in employee issues and dispute resolution. Duties

The selectee will serve as anAdministrative Manager in the Office of Equity and Employee Support Services (EES). Typical work assignments include: Performing a variety of analytical and management assignments as an authority on administrative matters in support of the programs and functions of the Office of Equity and Employee Support Services (EES). Working directly with the EES Leadership, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Program (EDI), Ombudsman Program, and Administrative Officer (AO) in support of highly complex and intricate administrative and analytical duties of the assigned office. Utilizing a wide range of subject matter practices, law, regulation, policies, and precedents and using a range of analytical methods to identify, evaluate, and recommend appropriate solutions. Researching and applying a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve products and services. Planning and directing work to be accomplished based upon priorities of EES Management, specialized capabilities, and requirements for various assignments.

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 level (starting salary $112,015.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 level performing the following duties: Coordinating with internal and externals stakeholders on the administration of organizational programs; Working on projects to ensure standards (cost, scope, and timelines) meet established plans; and Evaluating information and/or data to provide recommendations for a project or program budget. You qualify for the GS-14 level (starting salary $132,368.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 level performing the following duties: Serving as a subject matter expert on the management of projects to ensure milestones and key performance indicators (e.g., cost, scope, and timelines) are met; Advising internal and stakeholder the implementation of management strategies and initiatives; Determining the budgetary requirements and/or plans for organizational programs; and Preparing reports or other written materials to improve administrative functions within an organization. NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet "time-in-grade" requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying). Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to current employees applying for a Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment. NOTE: All current or former Federal employees must provide a copy of their SF-50 (you may need to submit more than one), "Notice of Personnel Action" that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF-50 must include your position, title, series, grade, step, tenure (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive or Excepted). All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification claims will be subject to verification. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
