Duties
Serve as primary point of contact at 25th ID and USARHAW for CHR matters.
Research and analyzes key references from the Code of Federal Regulations, Office of Personnel Management, the Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory System
Direct and coordinate all administrative functions within the 25th ID and USARHAW and ensures subordinate Brigades, Battalions, Units and Offices comply with all applicable policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and advice to all administrative personnel regarding the full range of administrative support services.
Develop, propose, initiate, and implement administrative policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.
Conduct studies of administrative functions with employees, obtaining and compiling data to determine where improvements can be made.
Attend meetings, workshops, conferences or seminars with other activities to keep abreast of any changes to administrative procedures or policies and advises the 25th ID and USARHAW CofS as necessary.
Provide review and oversight of a variety of tasking from higher headquarters, internal controls, records management, and publications and forms management.
Provide administrative planning and oversight for a variety of special and continuing programs such as: Freedom of Information Act, Privacy Act, Telework, and the Voluntary Leave Transfer Program.
Serve as DoD Performance Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP) subject matter expert, Superuser and help desk.
Ensure actions are tasked to the appropriate Primary/Staff Office; negotiates prepotency issues with Primaries when ownership is difficult to define or cross staff lines.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and retain Secret Security Clearance.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
