The incumbent serves as the Electronics Technician (Coordinator) for all Air Traffic Control Facilities, (ATCF) project activities related to onsite installation/construction. Serves as principle technical expert providing project installation/construction expertise in the preparation of the Project Work Plan. Plans, schedules, identifies required resources and coordinates execution of the installation/construction activities across multiple installations Centers.
Duties

Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications
There is no timeframe requirement at the Level III/FV-H to compete. Candidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility that is appropriate to the position. Experience that demonstrates an extensive knowledge of and experience in technology system interrelationships, and management of civilian or military automated aviation, navigation, and electronics systems. Generally, experience at the next lower level Pay Band H/level III or FG/GS-12 or equivalent, meets the minimum qualifications for this position as long as the experience supports the demonstrated abilities identified below.DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES:Ability to complete complex assignments, with broad impact on NAS, without supervision.Expertise on legacy and newly developed NAS modernization systems, within a large facility, or multiple facilities.Ability to apply a comprehensive technical knowledge to protect the integrity of components and systems, which provide NAS services.Ability to focus on overall NAS systems performance and causes of system degradation.Ability to apply skill in resolving unique technical problems. Ability to be the primary technical point of contact for complex NAS systems with the knowledge and expertise to provide technical guidance and direction for multiple systems.Ability to work with high level representatives of outside organizations, including DOD, Airport Management, contractors, etc.Ability to collaborate with system users, planners, engineers, and vendors on installing or improving complex automation systems in the NAS.Ability to develop broad recommendations on enhancing the efficiency of NAS systems by modification and application of existing or emerging technologyYou MUST provide a NARRATIVE statement for each Demonstrated Ability.
