THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2783000 and is part of the CO AASF, National Guard.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a General Supply Specialist in a developmental capacity.
Duties
Performs developmental assignments of moderately difficult and complex nature consisting of well-precedented tasks designed to orient the employee in the application of General Supply programs and activities. Performs recurring assignments. Independently performs work assignments which gradually increase in difficulty and complexity. Carries out special projects and participates in special initiatives and studies. Prepares written correspondence and other documentation. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- Must be a current Permanent Dual Status Federal Technician within AASF.
- Must hold the grade of E-4 or E-5.
- Submit all required documentation.
Qualifications
Military Grades: E-4 or E-5
1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.
2. An applicant's RESUME must provide, in detail, how they meet each specialized experience listed below.
3. It must be documented with "from (mm/yy)" and "to (mm/yy)" dates and description of the specialized experience.
4. If education or a degree is required as part of the "Specialized Experience", you must include transcripts.

Must have at least 24 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
1. Experience dealing with cost estimates, budgets or funding management.
2. Experience conducting extensive and exhaustive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for supply activities.
Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements.
