THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2058000 and is part of the CO AASF, National Guard.
This position functions as the logistics manager of the organization and is responsible for oversight of property accountability functions.
Duties
Develops, implements and evaluates the logistics and property accountability plans and policies for the organization. Develops and coordinates the execution of the command supply discipline program, command maintenance discipline program, and other directed command inspection programs. May supervise and maintain property book accountability utilizing an automated system and related computer programs to account for property. May coordinate with the state level headquarters and subordinate elements of the organization on the lateral transfer and/or turn in of excess property. May establish quality control procedures and oversees the edit of all documents. Analyzes requirements, develops forecasts, directs re-allocation, and provides guidance for the execution of funds for all decentralized logistics resources. Provides technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to logistics and property management. Is the primary point of contact for the conduct of new material information briefings for the command. Acts on behalf of the commander when attending logistical conferences, meetings, or other forums in which information must be provided or decisions are required. Represents the National Guard and the Commander in the community. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- Must be a current Permanent Dual Status Federal Technician within AASF.
- Must hold the grade of W-3 or W-4.

Qualifications
Military Grades: W-3 or W-4
1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.

Must have at least 36 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
1. Experience identifying activities involving logistical support operations.
2. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan.
3. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan.
4. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions.
5. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices.
6. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed.
7. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
Preferred Experience:
-Experience in GCSS-A Maintenance and Supply functions.
Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets 6 months Specialized Experience.
