About the Position: Serves as the Human Resources Technician for a variety of Human Resource Military personnel programs and systems in support of the US Army Medical Center of Excellence. Duties

Serve as a Human Resources Assistant technical authority on all matters related to military personnel management and actions to include the installation operations of eMILPO. Provide administrative personnel support. Assist with maintaining control over Officer and Noncommissioned Officer Evaluation Reports (OERs and NCOERs) Research and provide explanation and interpretation of rules, regulations, procedures, and requirements pertaining to action taken or recommended.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a military driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 5% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
