Duties
You will identify and develop opportunities for cooperation between the Department of Navy (DoN) and National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) research, development, and acquisition programs, and foster a mutual understanding of naval information needs.
You will understand all naval mission areas and desired capabilities and how NRO systems can be applied to improve naval missions.
You will coordinate with staff to review and/or develop requirements and provide those requirements to the NRO.
You will prepare briefs for senior personnel concerning NSS capabilities and limitations, naval warfare missions and tactical support needed, current topics of interest, or issues for coordination between NRO and Navy.
You will coordinate closely with Carrier Strike Group (CSG)/Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) staffs to understand emerging needs.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: knowledge in naval mission areas and NRO capabilities (to include ground, space, and airborne ISR), ability to brief senior Navy Flag Officers and SES on NRO systems and current/future use by Navy, and the ability to work independently with limited review of submissions.
