This position is located Aviation Management, Redmond Air Group: Redmond Deschutes, OR.
This position serves as manager of the Working Capital Fund (WCF) Aircraft Parts Storage and Distribution Center (APSDC) directing and managing activities for the procurement, storage, refurbishment, and shipment of WCF aircraft parts, components, equipment, and supplies for use in Aviation.

Duties
Work and communicate with clients and customers who use or receive the services or products that your work unit provides, including individuals who work in your agency or in other agencies or organizations outside the Government.
Prepares, justifies, and/or administers the budget for program areas; plans, administers, and monitors expenditures to ensure cost-effective support of programs and policies; assesses.
Knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures used for the automated control of a process, including the design, development, and maintenance of associated software, hardware, and systems.
Selects, acquires, stores, and distributes resources such as materials, equipment, or money.
Engage, lead, and direct a diverse workforce fostering and promoting an equitable, inclusive, and safe environment.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.

- Successful completion of one year probationary period, unless previously served.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience Requirement: GS-2003-11- 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level. Examples of specialized experience must include one or more of the following: Managed activities for the procurement, storage, refurbishment, and shipment of equipment and supplies in support of aviation activities. Assisted with the development and maintenance of a management plan and incident support policies, guidelines, and standards. Managed personnel work schedules to support workload increases. Restocked cache supply levels. Maintained an automated inventory system. Recommended changes and revisions in aviation management program. Implemented security and accountability standards for all supplies and equipment.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.M., if related
