About the Position: Assist in the execution of all matters pertaining to the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army. Devises, plans and implements various programs, projects and assignments.

Duties

Advise on administrative and executive policies, procedures, directives and requirements for the Agency. Prepare, proofread and review correspondence, reports, and present briefings. Prepare itineraries, travel folders, logistical support, and preparation of vouchers for management officials. Manage, develop and oversee logistics for all official meetings, conferences, and other functions conducted by or on behalf senior Agency officials. Express ideas through a wide range of telephonic, interpersonal, and written inquiries.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• One year trial/probationary period may be required.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
