You will serve as a SUPERVISORY COMMAND SAPR (SAR WF) in the Chief of Staff, Office of the Commander of US MARINE CORPS FORCES, CENTRAL CMD.

Duties

You will perform administrative and technical supervisory duties to include work planning, assignments, training, discipline and leave; provide guidance, information and training on performance and administrative matters. You will plan, organize, coordinate and manage the SAPR Program; support program to ensure continuity of services and collaboration of stakeholders. You will provide guidance on program implementation; monitor and evaluate compliance with SAPR Program policy and assist in the development, implementation and oversight of command program guidance. You will maintain and implement SAPR budget; formulate, administer and monitor operating and capital budget. You will perform analysis, compile usage data, develop reports, prepare info papers, provide briefs and consolidate response for command. You will conducts assessments of SAPR Program; monitor the development and maintenance of Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database and assessment of victims' needs

  • This position requires a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (D-SAACP), in accordance with DoDI 6495.03
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Catch a Serial Offender (CATCH) Program, Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • You may serve in an "on call" duty status outside of normal working hours to include remaining in a reasonable call back radius, carrying a cell phone, and staffing the 24/7 support line duty as needed.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • May travel up to 25% of the time to complete work assignments, conduct or attend meetings, training events, site assist visits or court hearings.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: implementing of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program; overseeing and coordinating a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program; and monitoring compliance with policies impacting the SAPR program. Education

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess:
  • Successfully completed a behavioral or social science degree, or a degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position being filled OR
  • Have a combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR
  • Completed four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
