You will serve as a MARINE CORPS JOINT AND MULTINATIONAL DOCTRINE ANALYST in the JOINT STAFF BRANCH, PLAN, POLICIES AND EOPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will be the designated representative in the joint doctrine community, representing Marine Corps positions as the Service Planner for joint and multinational issues in the joint and multinational fora.
You will review Marine Corps doctrine for consistency with joint doctrine and applicability to emerging strategy and future concepts.
You will review multinational and allied North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) doctrine for consistency, agreement with joint and Marine Corps doctrine, and applicability to remerging strategy and future concepts.
You will maintain liaison with the Doctrine Branch within the Training and Education Command (TECOM) and other Services as required.
You will develop briefings on joint and multinational doctrine and force modernization for general officers and other Marine Corps leaders that reflect current Joint and Marine Corps positions as required.

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing principles, fundamentals, guidelines, doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures relating to joint, multinational, Marine Corps, and multi-Service doctrine and terminology; AND managing Joint and Marine Corps staffing process, the Joint Doctrine Development and Revision Process, and NATO organization and structure, and terminology.
