Duties

Preforms a variety of administrative functions controlling visitor access to the installation in support of the Directorate of Emergency Services Greets customers and determines their eligibility to enter the installation through identity proofing, vetting to determine the fitness of an individual requesting and/or requiring access to the installation, and issuance of local access credentials. Register individuals through the AIE system. Receives requests, reviews, clarifies, processes and issues badges/registration forms. Ensures supporting documents are complete, valid and comply with applicable regulations. Incumbent maintains a variety of files, control registers, and records to provide control of sensitive information maintained.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain eligibility at the Secret level using a Tier 3 background investigation.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a NCIC (National Crime Information Center) Certification, within 3 months of employment.
  • Shift work is required, or a change in work shift may be necessary.
  • MISSION ESSENTIAL POSITION: Incumbent is required to report for duty during inclement weather, Natural Disasters, and other emergency situations as directed by the Commander and may be required to remain on duty after the official shift ends.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
