About the Position: Serve as a Staff Advisor to plan, develop, monitor, record and report the implementations of plans, policies, and procedures for Garrison related programs. Exercise procedures to improve productivity, quality management and organization improvement for situations crossing all Garrison programs.

Duties

Staff advisor for the management of Garrison mission supported programs. Plan and advise on implementing new ideas, processes, and procedures to support quality management and improve mission initiatives. Create strategic business plans. Monitor budget and accounting policies and provide recommendations for improvement. Recommend policy and program improvements after performing research studies. Continually monitor programs to provide program improvement. Advise Command on status of programs. Provide solutions to program issues. Exercise strategic planning, program assessment and business management practices to complete organization goals. Research laws and regulations to provide answers to customers questions.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

Monitoring organization processes to evaluate programs and improve program performance, AND 3. Initiating organizational improvement processes to provide new and improved programs for installation support. In order to qualify at the GS-12 grade level, you must qualify on experience alone. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
