Duties
Responsible for developing plans and accomplishing Property Administration, including review of contractor property management systems.
Implements policies, writes and reviews procedures, interprets, administers, and assures accomplishment of the Industrial Property Management Program.
Advise, consult, develops and implements programs, work actions, studies, and projects that solve highly complex and diverse property administration problems.
Review and evaluate contractor property management plans and procedures for regulatory compliance and adequacy.
Engages in the management of an Industrial Property Clearance Programs for redistribution of installation excess personal property and disposal of service and agency excess and surplus personal property.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- The incumbent must obtain Acquisition certification in the Contracting Functional Area at the Contracting Professional Functional Tier within 36 months of entry into this position, in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.66.
- The incumbent must also achieve 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points every two years in accordance with the 4th Estate Director for Acquisition Career Management Common Continuous Learning Cycle (unless prorated).
Qualifications
Qualifying Experience:
For the GS-12, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-11 if outside the Federal service, is required.
Qualifying experience is defined as experience performing industrial property administration (PA) duties for multiple contracts and developing plans for accomplishing total contract property management system analysis assessments or audits.
