Duties
The selectee will serve as a/an Audiovisual Production Specialist in the Forensic Services Division (FSD). Typical work assignments include:
Developing and presenting project proposals.
Conceptualizing, planning, producing, directing and editing multifaceted segments of video/multimedia projects.
Producing a wide range of audiovisual products using many different production methods and techniques.
Serving as project manager with responsibility for actively participating with stakeholders in exploring best practices in presenting information.
Planning, organizing, designing, and producing projects in a timely manner to meet goals and deadlines set by supervisor.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
You qualify for the GS-13 level (starting salary $112,015.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 level performing the following duties:
Communicating with clients for the duration of an assignment to ensure a satisfactory outcome;
Utilizing skills with digital media and multimedia technology to apply to various stages of a project;
Creating film/story treatments for each project to remain organized and to convey the project's concept;
Utilizing audiovisual resources to acquire elements needed for the audiovisual production; and
Researching new products or equipment to determine which would best fit for a project.
