About the Position: This position is located on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii which is nestled at the foot of the Waianae mountain range on the island of Oahu. Duties

Provide support to active-duty soldiers, Army retirees, widow(er)s, and other family members in the State of Hawaii, U.S. Pacific territories, or other visitors seeking information and assistance. Provide retirement counseling, processes retirement documents, and accomplishes office administration. Briefs retiring soldiers and their spouses on the provisions of the Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) as mandated by law and provides updated information to Army retirees and their families. Schedules appointments for briefing of retiring soldiers and their spouses and updates the appointment calendar. Provides individual counseling, guidance, and advice to casualty assistance officers and widow(er)s or other survivors regarding possible benefit entitlements which may be available to them from various government agencies.
