This position is located in the Division of Resource Management and Administration (DRMA), Financial and Information Management Branch (FIMB), in Atlanta, GA.
The supervisor is Clinton McGill.
This position is not subject to confidential financial disclosure or security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
This position is in the Bargaining Unit with the National Treasury Employees Union, Chapter 208.
Duties
The successful candidate will perform the full range of duties as a Management and Program Analyst.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. For GG-13: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at the grade 12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is experience which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work performed by this position as described in the duties section above.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as experience which demonstrates expert knowledge of the principles of data analysis and analytical techniques to develop reports and translate information related to implementation of technical programs into effective management plans, evaluation systems, communication systems, resource planning and evaluation, and overall administrative support arrangements. Expert knowledge of Federal budget execution and accounting principles, policies and procedures sufficient to understand their relationship to financial plans, allowances, commitments, obligations and various reports consistent with applicable requirements and management directives.
The ideal candidate for this position must demonstrate the following:
Knowledge of the principles and theories of management analysis or program analysis sufficient to perform analyses, evaluations, and studies of programs or processes and reach definite conclusions and recommendations which will lead to management decisions, improvements, efficiencies, and better understanding and documentation of programs or processes.
Knowledge of the principles, practices, and processes of financial processes and/or budget execution.
Knowledge and understanding of the administrative aspects of NRC regulations, policies, procedures, and practices pertaining to financial, internal controls, acquisitions, and other organizational and administrative directives. Demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge through analysis and interpretation adequate to provide advice, guidance, and consultation to management staff.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
