About the Position: Serves as the Anti-terrorism Officer (ATO) for Garrison Anti-Terrorism (AT) program in support of Force Protection (FP) mission.

Duties

Directs the development, implementation, and operation of an integrated Antiterrorism program. Plans, formulates, and coordinates all matters pertaining to the protection and security of personnel, property and material against terrorist threats. Ensures AT budget requirements are consolidated, prioritized and submitted in the correct format within prescribed timelines. Provides policy and written technical guidance to be issued as command directive and prepares official correspondence for implementation of the AT Program for the garrison Senior Command Leadership. Plans, develops, and administers vital AT and FP projects and programs which are central to the mission of the organization.

Specialized experience is defined as: Analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of an Anti-terrorism (AT) program in support of the Force Protection (FP) mission; provide guidance in applying AT directives and policies consistent with program goals and objectives; and conducting briefings on AT planning. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service.(GS 11).
