About the Position: You will provide administrative and clerical support for the Executive Office staff to include the Commander, Deputy Commander, Executive Assistant, and Small Business Administrator District. Serves as a qualified typist and performs office automation duties.

Duties

Responsible for preparing and maintaining budget for the Executive Office. Serves as the training coordinator for the Executive Office staff and maintains training budget for Executive Office. Performs general program support work involving the collection, compilation, and/or tracking of data and statistical information in support of the organization's program operation. Prepares, reviews, and coordinates the preparation of complex planning documents for all activities e.g., business plan. Assists the Executive Assistant in the New Employee Orientation. Assists with the Command awards ceremony.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the skill of a fully qualified typist.
  • Must be able to type 40 words per minute.
  • This position requires travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Must possess a valid U.S.(State) driver's license.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementCommunicationsOrganizational Awareness Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
