This HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) position, is located at an Air National Guard (ANG) Group Commander's Support Staff (CSS) unit and is part of the CA 163 ATKW.

Duties

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-9, is to serve on the Group Commander's Support Staff (CSS). The incumbent will administer and direct the Group Commander's Support Staff functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Additionally, trains in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

General Experience: Possess a valid understanding of the basic principles and concepts of human resources functions and programs. HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-9: Must have at least 24 months experience using references and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as, maintaining personnel records, counseling, or classification and assignments; Experience performing personnel functions associated with preparing and maintaining position descriptions and manual records, personnel classification or usage, quality force management, managing personnel records and researching record data; Experience operating a computer and using varied computer programs; Experience of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee; Experience using human resources business elements and can discuss terminology, concepts, principles, and issues related to this competency Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: Attention to DetailCustomer ServiceHR Technology UsageInformation Management
