Duties

Performs heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 pounds or more. Completed work is reviewed for timelines, work practices, and compliance with instructions. Incumbent is responsible for following safety practices, obtaining assistance, and performing maintenance on equipment.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be available to work varying and/or rotating shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays and events.
• A Medical Examination is required. Applicant must be able to frequently lift and carry very heavy objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
• The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether fulltime or part time are eligible to apply for this position.

Qualifications

1. Six (6) months of laboring experience required. 2. Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks. This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.
